Welcome, I am Dr. Dawn Brock. I am an American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) certified Clinical Psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of psychology. I have worked in many settings, to include outpatient community mental health centers, non-profit organizations, inpatient and residential facilities, emergency services environments, and military and government agencies. I specialize in individual (18+) and couples therapy, and maintain a private practice in Huntington, West Virginia.

I have approximately 15 years of experience with trauma related services, to include four trauma specialist certifications focused on military, emergency responders, disasters, medical trauma, and sexual assault victim populations. Over the past 5 years, I have been developing a comprehensive skillset to incorporate yoga, meditation, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) into therapy.

My therapeutic approach is to provide support, education, skills training and practical feedback to help clients effectively address life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
